Some People
Some people are so happy
while others hardly smile.
Some don't even help each other
while others give a mile.
Some watch TV and go to bed
while others smooch and kiss.
Some don't even speak at all
and give their beds a miss.
Some people take for granted
the partner that they've got.
While others work three jobs all day
to give their spouse the lot.
Some people say that marriage
is just a piece of paper.
Some others get hitched through an ad
in their local paper.
Some people marry 'cause they should
and take with them their pain.
Some people commit and don't look back,
just look at what they gain.
To be made one in Gods own sight,
a life long sweet romance.
Enjoy yourself and have some fun,
and give your spouse that glance.
Some people don't know how to love
their marriage cold and sad.
They've missed the greatest privilege
this world has ever had.
