I've Moved

There is a story (Moving In God) that goes with this poem.

Away from my friends and what I have known.

I've travelled for miles to find my new home.

I've found a great house, real close to the water.

I'm used to it now, so are the boys and my daughters.

It's taking a while to settle right in,

Now making new friends. It's hard to begin.

But there's one great place that I don't feel alone,

At church with God's family; it's a place I call home.

Though it's been a big move and I've had to adjust.

I'm so thankful for all of the lessons on trust.

I don't know if I could do it again.

Uprooting the family and missing our friends.

But our heavenly father knows where I should be

Even if it seems hard its easy to see

That he's in control and knows what future is best.

When you're following Him you know that you're blessed.

I'm happy right now here in my new home.
