"Cute Kid Happenings"
Manners
We were sitting down to dinner when I noticed Mickey eating with his mouth open, smearing food over the table and sitting only sideways on his chair. I was horrified.
I said to him," Mickey eat with some manners !"
He finished his mouthful and said, "Thankyou."
Roast Dinner
We all sat down for a beautiful roast pork. Buzz said he didn't feel like eating any of the meat. Finally he agreed to have some and asked "Is this meat or pork?"
Word Mixup
We have a lovely friend who is a paraplegic. One evening he told us about a little girl who was very interested in his condition and asked how long he had been a paraletic.
The Blessing
When our nephew Tonee was very young he was fervant in prayer and had a great desire to pray with people. One evening in church there was an altar call for people who needed healing. Tonee saw this as his opportunity to pray for a lovely lady sitting down the front. He placed his hand on her knee and said,"Thankyou Lord for this food. Amen"
Milkshake at school.
Mickey Blue Eyes was walking with me when he stopped right at the school gate. He pulled down his pants and began to urinate into a bare patch of ground. As the dirt turned a dark brown colour he said, "milkshake, chocolate milkshake."
Song Lyric Mixup
Blossom had a dentist appointment at a Catholic School. As we walked through the play ground Mickey began singing "I'm a demon lives. I'm a demon lives." Blossom and I nearly fell over and realized he was singing the Hillsong tune "My Redeemer lives".
Mini Me loves drawing
Mini Me has been getting up after bed time and busying herself around the house. She has scribbled crayon on the bedroom walls, biro on the new flooring, biro on the living room walls and lead pencil in the dining area. She also finds great delight in drawing all over herself.
Mickey's Blister
Mickey has started day care one day a week. He usually wears his black pull on boots. Last week he developed a terrible blister on the back of his foot so we put a band aid on it and he wore his slippers around. One morning he was putting on his boots when I noticed that one of them was quite a bit smaller than the other. Actually it was about two sizes too small. With our next visit to the day care centre we were approached by Mickey's teacher and his boot in her hand. Mickey had taken home the wrong boot. Ouch.
Buzz's Weather Predictions
Buzz was looking out his bedroom window when he said , "You don't need all the instruments and things to know what the weather will be, you just need to look at the trees to know the air pressure."
