I'm tired today
Feel life's oh so busy
Nappies, washing, more mess
I'm feeling quite dizzy.
Do I have to keep going?
I'm tired of cleaning
Not another spilled drink.
The floor was just gleaming
I'm tired of doin the same boring thing
Need to lay down
As the phone starts to ring.
Just give me five minutes
To try to recover
I'm tired you know
This life as a mother
No time to sit down
The mess gets too deep
I'm tired now mummy
As they all go to sleep
It's quiet all's clean
I'm sitting alone
Wish something would happen
Might pick up the phone
I start dreaming; I'm bored
Upstairs starts to shake
Thank goodness it's over
As they all start to wake
I'm tired you know
Life's too precious right now
The mess starts again
I'll get through it somehow
