Living It Out
A testimony by Carmen.
Sergeant York has known the Lord since the age of three. He has stood firm in the Word of God and knows wonderful Biblical truths. One thing my husband is amazing at is actually applying these truths.
I struggle about trying to fulfill my calling while York quietly goes about being the husband, father, provider and lover he is called to be. York didn't have an easy road when he married me, I was divorced with three children and if you ask me he was taking an incredible step of faith.
I believe his deep convictions and his knowledge of God's Word are what make him capable of being the man he is. Through his ability to live out what he believes he has brought incredible healing and freedom into my life and the lives of our children.
I want to encourage men, ordinary every day men to seek God's face for your wives and children. The blessing is a content and happy family.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
Ephesians 5:25-27
