I don't know that anything can quite prepare you for the heart ache and out come. I found great comfort in knowing that the Lord was capable when I was not and that forgiveness and healing can eventually come and make you live life again. The poem 'Betrayed' came about some years after the event I am referring to here and I was amazed at how it came out.</div> <bR> <div> There are so many beautiful men, women and children deeply hurt by betrayal. Betrayal has a lot of different forms such as sexual abuse, lies, adultery and the list goes on. If you are in the middle of an agonising decision, court case or situation in your home, try to remember that the Lord is faithful and His word does not say that you will be left living in the turmoil forever,  it is something you are walking through right now. <I>Psalm 23:4 (NIV) says ' Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and staff, they comfort me.'</I></div> <bR> <div> Ever felt so hurt inside</div> <div> You think you won't recover?</div> <div> Ever felt so hurt inside </div> <div> By a friend or a lover?</div> <bR> <div> Ever thought they'd hurt your child</div> <div> or tell a lie to you?</div> <div> Who would have thought they'd turn away</div> <div> and from your children too.</div> <bR> <div> Ever felt misunderstood,</div> <div> too emotional to speak?</div> <div> Ever thought betrayal and hurt</div> <div> could leave you feeling weak?</div> <bR> <div> Ever felt so twisted up</div> <div> By a decision that you've made?</div> <div> You know those feelings in your heart </div> <div> when you have been betrayed.</div> <bR> <div> Who would have thought you'd choose a life</div> <div> Of heart ache when you could be</div> <div> A blessing to a baby girl,</div> <div> To neighbours or to me.</div> <bR> <div> Ever thought about that child</div> <div> and what distrust can do?</div> <div> Ever thought about the Lord</div> <div> and what He can do for you?</div> <bR> <div> He can take away the pain</div> <div> and heal your broken heart.</div> <div> He can put your life together</div> <div> where it has come apart.</div> <bR> <div> Ever felt so hurt inside </div> <div> By some one that you love?</div> <div> You need to know forgiveness</div> <div> and trust in God above.</div> <bR> <div> Ever thought about the truth</div> <div> and how it sets you free?</div> <div> Ever thought how a simple word</div> <div> like sorry came to be?</div> <bR> <div> © 2001 zollywood.com</div> </td> </tr></table></body>
