Parenting is probably the most difficult, non thankful, unrecognised, mentally and physically demanding job on earth. It is often said that there should have been a manual written for parents because of the many challenges faced throughout the years of raising a family. There is a manual written which does not under estimate the ability of women to succeed in motherhood, it does not belittle men and it proclaims children to be a' reward' and not a burden. It's the Word of God. The most uplifting and practical book ever to be published for the parents of today; there is no comparison to magazines and "what to do books" though some of these are fantastic.
We hope the parenting section of our site will encourage mothers and fathers to enjoy every precious moment with their children. God, throughout his Word, has been a faithful parent who teaches us to minister first to our family. Many times the Lord has given us little jewels of wisdom with our children. When Carmen was alone parenting three little children she learnt so much about God's heart to the fatherless that we hope will inspire single parents every where.
