Seek His Face
What can a woman be in these feministic times?
We're told to climb up corporately
And follow our own minds.
We're strong and don't need men around,
To lead us when we're lost.
We can do it all ourselves.
But are we willing to count the cost?
We have media and television telling us these lies.
It's time to speak of examples-
Great! Feminine! and wise.
There's Abigail,a humble girl,
Who would marry a great king,
Or Esther, such a pretty girl,
Who was chosen as the queen.
Deborah, was a judge.
Ruth, a joyful bride.
And Mary, delivered of demons,
Who would sit at Jesus side.
These women found throughout Gods word,
Have the strength I want to know.
They weren't concerned about careers.
They trusted God to help them grow.
They didn't lie about their lives,
They were wise and full of grace.
So above all else we women need,
To learn to 'seek His face.
