A lady, so creative,
Her hands designed to paint.
Her home so full of treasures,
A cottage small and quaint.
Her beauty rare and elegant,
She shared her cups of tea.
My neighbour, friend and confidant.
She shared her life with me.
The cottage full of art and craft.
She beautifully creates.
Her home an oil painting.
That, no one could negate.
Her pretty home shines light inside,
And shows of her great joy.
Of freedom found in painting out,
What man could not destroy.
My neighbours home shows a gentle heart,
A love of life and more.
The creativity abounds,
Before you're in the door.
She has the gift of bringing out,
The artist deep inside.
That secret place where the human heart,
And creator do collide.
Her life an oil painting,
So intricate like lace.
Her home a cosy haven,
Over flowing with Gods grace.
