Who tells what lies ahead
There's other's too who speak like him
Their words futile and dead
You keep on searching far and wide
For answers and for scope

But his influence is great

The world recalls that date
Ever heard the prophecy
About the coming King
A prophet named Isaiah
Saw a future world of sin
He foretold of one who'd take our place
And hang upon a cross
The final sacrifice for life
For God the greatest loss
A covenant of unfailing love
Was the child's anointed call
He knew his purpose without a doubt
To set us free from all
Emmanuel means God with us
He's alive today you know
Would you recognise the one true God
If you saw him on a show?
A lot say it's coincidence
How the Bible story's told
But how can so many lives be changed
By a book that's very old?
It's a beautiful tale of life and death
And a saviour who steps in
It's the Word of God, the one true God
That saves our lives from sin

He died and rose the saviour Christ
Has the keys to death and hell
