Farting Frenzy
Parents beware this poem is for 7 - 10 year old boys. I hope I don't get in too much trouble for using the word fart.
Some days I wake up feeling full,
Its hard to really start.
But I can feel relief is near,
If I only I could fart.
A lot of friends say it sounds rude
To pop off when you play
I prefer to do it
Than have a tummy ache all day.
Some people say they just pass wind
Or blow off, excuse me.
Stop pretending its OK
To do an S B D.
The adults they must hold it in
Till they get home each day.
I don't understand at all
I just fart around all day.
I've heard mums and dads say
You shouldn't use that word.
But I prefer it any day.
Flatulence sounds too absurd.
There seems to be this funny thing
Of pretending that we don't.
Its natural for us boys
But I know some girls who won't.
A farting frenzy has to start
We need some one to say,
That its OK to let 'er rip
And laugh our day away.
